Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC)
DMC has a melting point of 4℃ and a boiling point of 90.3℃. Under normal temperature, it is a
colorless, transparent liquid. It can be mixed with such organic solvents as alcohol, ketone, ester, etc. at any proportion but it is hardly soluble in water.

Application
- It is a perfect methylating agent, carbonylating agent, methoxylating agent and methylolating agent with active chemical properties.
- As an environmental chemical product, it can be widely used in producing polycarbonate, pharmaceutical and pesticide, and
- Can be used in paints, coating and adhesive as the solvent substituting some toxic solvent.
- Can be used into produce lithium battery electrolyte.
