γ-Amino Propyl Tri Methoxy Silane
BI-540 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive primary amine and hydrolysable inorganic methoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reactivity allows it to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers) thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and/or surface modifier.
